OUTLAW RULES 2010

Bodies:

(1)    Aftermarket bodies with creases steel or aluminum (No fiberglass except hoods)

(2)    No convertibles or station wagons

(3)    Rubber snouts okay

(4)    No coil over front ends

(5)    Front spindles must be OEM stock but can have adapter on spindle for safety hubs all 4 corners

(6)    Coil over eliminators are allowed

(7)    Minimum wheel base of 106”

(8)    No late model bodies allowed-stock appearing

(9)    Rear Deck of car must be flat (No incline)

(10) Snout cars will be allowed spoilers (1) 8” from deck to top of spoiler (2) top of side pieces 8” tall tapered down to 4” at 18” long 

     Transmissions:

(1)    Berts, Brins, Falcons, Triple disks allowed

(2)    Manual clutch and pressure plate must have steel blow proof bell housing

Drive shafts: steel only!

No floating bird cages

No rack & pinions steering

Rear Ends:

(1)   Upper & lower trailing arms can be adjustable

(2)   Pull bar will be allowed

(3)   Pan hard bar will be allowed

(4)   Leaf springs are allowed

(5)   NO floating bird cages-must be welded

(6)   Safety hubs highly recommended but not mandatory

Shocks:

(1)    Shocks – non adjustable

(2)    No canister type shocks

(3)    No gas shocks

(4) Oil shocks only - aluminum or steel

(5) Racing springs allowed

Engines:

(1)   All steel motors only

(2)   No 400 blocks

(3)   No aluminum heads

(4)   No stroke or D stroke motors

(5)   362 cubic inch – Chrysler 365 cubic inch

(6)   No light weight or knifed cranks

Heads:

(1)   No porting or polishing

(2)   23 degree heads only

(3)   Angle plug heads allowed

(4)   Screw in studs & guide plates allowed

Intake:

(1)   Any aluminum intakes with no porting or polishing

Carburetor:

(1)   Any 4 barrel carburetor

(2)   No electric fuel pumps-fuel pumps must be in factory position

Weight:

(1)   3000 lbs – all cars after race

Tires & Wheels:

(1)   Steel wheels only – 8” wide or 10” wide allowed

(2)   Street radials – 8” wide (same as last year)
