MODIFIED STREET RULES 2010
Body Rules: 1. Look alike bodies; factory type-steel (a) Stock type bodies 2. Hulling out around wheels & tires are okay 3. Spoilers – 8” Maximum 4. Upper control arms can be tubular but no adjustable 5. Wedge bolts – all 4 corners are okay 6. Racing Springs and shocks are okay - steel - non-adjustable 7. Floor pans must be stock or steel; right side of car can be stock and/or boxed
Engine: 1. No 400 Blocks 2. Engine setbacks – spark plug even with ball joints 3. Compression not to exceed 170 lbs. 4. Cam shafts not to exceed 480 lift 5. Solid lift cams okay 6. No roller cams 7. All steel motors 8. Screw in main cap bolts (ARP), etc. 9. Rod bolts (ARP) okay 10. Aluminum radiators are okay 11. Stock replacement kits allowed
Ignition: 1. Any ignition – No magnetos
Heads: 1. Stock Vortex head – GM – etc., No bow tie heads 2. 300 Horse heads are okay 3. All heads must be straight plug heads 4. 202 Largest valve size 5. Stock heads – No racing heads – Dart, Pro, World, etc. 6. Roller Rocker arms are permitted 7. Screw in studs and guide plates are okay 8. Fans & pulleys are optional 9. After market power steering pumps are allowed 10. Oil pan - can be 1 kickout – claimer pan with windage trays and oil gates 11. No stroke or d stroke motors
Brakes: 1. After market brakes are okay 2. Adjusters for brakes are okay
Rear End: 1. Stock – 9” Ford or floater rear ends are okay 2. Panhard bars; 4 links stock 3. No 5th arms 4. Trailing arms must be in stock location – and can be adjustable – steel only (a) if mount on car has to be replaced it must be same size and in stock position 5. Panhard bars – must be connected to back side of rear end
Transmissions: 1. No Berts, Brinns, Falcons, 2. Triple disk okay – automatic okay 3. No direct drives
Tires and Wheels: 1. 8” – 60 series street radials 2. 8” or 10” steel wheels are okay Weight:
