Carburetor Buy –Exchange Rule - $300.00 11. Engine: Chevy – Must be all steel except intake. Max displacement of 362 Cubic inches. Any intake after market water pump (steel or aluminum) O.K. After market fuel pump in stock location. 12. Heads: Any steel head – 23 degree. 215 Runners, steel valves – no titanium valves. No porting or polishing, grinding, or excessive deburring in any breathing area on heads. No shot peening or acid porting of heads allowed. May be deburred on outside areas only. May have 3 angle valve job. Can be flat or angle milled. No polishing or porting of intakes. 13. Open Motors: Flat top pistons only, steel rods – no titanium rods – cast or steel crankshafts – 362 cubic inch – Must run 2 barrel carburetor. A. Crankshafts must weigh 45 pounds or more NO TOLERANCE, and can be 3.480 Stroke and or 3.50 Stroke B. Motor can be balanced C. Rods can be – 5.7” or 6” D. No dry sumps allowed. E. Shaft rockers allowed. Crate Motors: must be as it is listed – Chevy. Example Chevy crate 604 must have the 50lb Crankshaft – powdered 5.7 connecting rods as called for. 1. Valve springs must be factory type called for by GM – NO other type 2. Sealed motors will be looked as the Same as all the other Motors in this Class. 3. No dry sumps allowed. A. P & G will be done. B. No vacuum rule. 14. Bellhousings Can Have rear mounted Pumps. 15. Weight: 2350 lbs anytime. 16. Spoilers: 8” allowed. Crates will be 8” also. A) Spoiler supports/Side Pieces on the end of spoilers and middle supports must be 8 inches tall and 18 inches long and from the top of the side support can tapper down 4 inches. 17. Tires: Rear tires must punch 50 or harder:American Racer 56 & Hoosier LM40-1600 , HOOSIER D55– Front Tires are Open. A. All identifying number must be visible – front and back – No altering – No tolerance! B. Drivers caught with non conforming tires will be disqualified and can be punished by track discretion. 18. No Tri-y headers. 19. Shocks: Oil or gas; 1 way adjustable shocks; no canister type shocks- Shrader Valves are PERMITTED (A) Buy Rule on shocks: EXCHANGE - $200.00 EACH SHOCK. 20. No After Market Blocks (A) Blocks must be stock OEM Blocks (B) NO 400 Blocks 21. NO Grinding off of any numbers or etc. on the blocks, heads or any part of the engine 22. Crate motors will be allowed 4-Barrel Carburetors, that are called for that crate motor 23. Raceivers are Mandatory! 24. Weights & Drive Shafts MUST BE Painted White with the # of the car located on it! MUST BE BOLTED ON WITH A GRADE 8 BOLT NO SMALLER THAN A 1/2 IN. BOLT, NO EXCEPTIONS
